"Noah" finally framed

Well, here is "Noah" finally framed. I had it framed at Michael's and don't think I would do that again. The first time I picked it up the piece was very poorly stretched and there was a hair under the glass, so I returned it and picked it up for the second time today and the piece isn't even centered. There's a larger margin on the bottom than the top.
My friend, Ann, usually makes my frames but she no longer has access to a "workshop" so that's why I went to Michaels.

This is my darling college student home on spring break. She's been doing a lot of this since she's been home. I think she burns the candle at both ends when she's at school. She goes back on Sunday, we will miss her.

I'd give anything to be napping with a kitty right now! TGIF! Noah came out great. Sorry to hear your framing woes though. It's hard finding a framer that understands needlework.

I'm sorry you're not happy with the framing job. :( It looks nice despite the flaws you see. As for your daughter -- boy, does that look familiar! lol! That's about all our DD did when she was home too! I think all these college students work too hard.

Noah is beautiful, and I really understand your frustration. Not only do they not always do good work, they are more expensive than some others. Are you going to take it back again?

I'm sorry to hear that Michael's did such a bad framing job for you. :( It turned out beautiful, but I agree with you about it being off-centered. Hmm... I wonder if they'll give you a discount on your paid price since they didn't do a perfect job on it.

You have a beautiful daughter. :)

I'm sorry that the framing disappointed you, but please know that the design and your beautiful stitching overcome that. It's still a lovely piece that I'd be proud to display in my house! Your daughter is a very pretty girl--and I don't think it's just the candle at both ends thing, but the fact that teenagers/young adults actually need extra sleep.

That framing is just so wrong. I hope you at least got your money back. You should definitely speak to the manager about this issue.

I'm sorry you're not happy with the framing. I've had times when I've had to take mine back because I wasn't happy and it's very frustrating.

I so wish I was napping right now!

I love your stitching on Noah, but I would feel the same about the framing job. I would probably take it back again as hard as that may be. It's not what you paid for...

Those poor college kids--they really do over-do it at school and then completely crash when they are home on breaks. Hope this week gave her the rest she needed!

Sorry to say but that's a terrible framing job and whoever is framing should find another job ;o) I wouldn't pay for that myself.

Your poor DD! I'm sure you were glad to have her home though :o)

I'm so sorry about the framing. I would absolutely take it back for them to do over. The frame you picked is great with it though and it sets off your pretty stitching.
Your ds is adorable!

Too bad about the framing - I hope you can have it corrected. The stitching is awesome!
