Update on CHRH

This is block #7 of Christmas of Hawk Run Hollow. This is a fun block to stitch. I'm also intermittently stitching block #11 because that is a solid block and thought it would be a good idea to stitch it as I go.
GOOD NEWS --- Our snow is melting, hurray :) :).
I've also been busy stitching on a couple of exchanges and actually finished them today. I hope the recipients will like them, but I won't be sending them out for a few more weeks though.

It looks so pretty! Love the colors! Good idea to switch between this block and the solid block for sure.

Can't believe you still have snow! Of course we did too up until a week ago. Now we just have flooding. Ugh.

I like your idea of working the other solid block at the same time. Block 7 is looking good!

That's a great idea about switching off on those two blocks. Fill in can be very boring (I know because of Ann Medd).

We still have some snow here too, but it's quickly melting - at least it was today. Have seen some snow flurries tonight. I wish that it would go away for good!

Nice progress - I like the flying birds. I think you're smart to switch on and off with the solid black block. And, good for you for getting your exchanges done ahead of time! Hope your snow melts soon!

Lovely progress on HRH. I think doing a little of the fill in as you go along is a great idea! It'll help keep you sane!

Our snow is melting too but it has been a LONG winter, for sure! I'm over it.

This was one of my favorite blocks when I stitched it last year--yours is looking wonderful! Are you going to personalize the name on the barn?

We had more snow on Friday, but it melted on Saturday so perhaps spring really is on the way...This has been the longest, coldest winter I can remember, that's for sure!

Nice progress! Doing a bit of fill in as you go is a great idea. I always put it off when I have a lot of it to do.
