Stitching for someone I love

I started Once Upon A Time by Passione Ricamo 4 days ago and this is how it's looking so far. This is for my daughter who got engaged 5 days ago. She's getting married this summer so I needed to get moving on this piece. I'm stitching it on 28ct "Peach Grove" lugana which is what the pattern calls for. I'm not a fan of 28ct nor of lugana but I'll survive it. I just love working on this piece, it's been a while since I've stitched something for one of my kids and it's wwaaaaaaaayyyy more fun than stitching for myself.
I officially started my diet and new exercise program today. Feeling hopeful I can lose the weight I want to.
I've been working a little bit on changing my blog also. It takes me so long to figure things out but I'll eventually get the blog looking the way I want it.
Thanks for visiting and have a safe and Happy New Year!

Sounds like you've got some exciting things coming up for you in 2011!

You have made SO much progress on this piece--it's a beauty, but looks huge to my eyes :)

Great progress! I've only done one Passione design before but it was a pretty quick stitch!

Good for you on starting your diet! I say that as I sit here munching on reese's pieces! I'll get back to the diet and exercise on January 3!

Great progress on the PR. I am not a fan of Lugana either.
