A New Blog

Well, I gave Wordpress a try and it was waaaayyyy too complicated for me so I've switched to Eblogger. This is much easier (I think). I want to thank Catherine for being the first and only person to comment on my Wordpress blog. You should check out her blog when you have a chance. I was reluctant to start publishing on this blog until I had it looking better but then figured why wait?? I'll be changing things on my blog as I figure things out. One of the pieces I am working on is Christmas of Hawk Run Hollow by Carriage House Samplings. I am stitching it with NPI silks on 36 ct Vintage Examplar by Lakeside Linens.

Last year I stitched Village of Hawk Run Hollow (was one of my favorite pieces of all time to stitch) and here is a picture.

I have already visited many blogs and will start commenting soon. I'm so impressed by so many of your blogs. Nice inspiration, thanks!!

I'll think you'll find blogger easy to use. If I can do it, then anybody can!

Thanks for coming by my blog and leaving a note!! Welcome to the blogging community. I've been on blogger for five years now and have been very happy with it. It's been fairly easy to change up the look every now and then when I feel the need. I'll be putting your blog into my Google reader and hope to be seeing a lot of great stitching projects and getting to know you better!

Merry Christmas

I've never used anything but blogger. It was easy to get started. I have found customization to be a bit of a challenge but that is most likely due to the user!

You're doing great on CaHRH. I want to start one of these this year, just can't decide which one!

Thank you for the comment on my blog. You're set to "no reply" so I couldn't email you back. Thank you for visiting!

I don't know how I came across your blog, but I love seeing your HRH pieces. I have three of them going and haven't finished a one. I think that Village is my favorite and yours looks wonderful!

Hello,
Thank you for your comment on my SAL sampler on my blog! I can not read French either so I go to Google.com and click on language tools. You can translate an entire site. If you need any help just let me know, and I'd be glad to help you.
Happy Holidays!

Such pretty work--I especially love the "feather tree" with the sampler alphabet. :)

Your Hawk Run Hollow pieces are lovely! I have started two of them, but just barely. One of these days...
Blogger is pretty easy to use, even for a dysfunctional blogger like me! And there are lots of people in blogland that will help with your questions. I look forward to reading more here, now that I am a follower!
